# 12. Multiple Characters

> One story per player.

This is not allowed. In general, avoid creating multiple characters involved in the same stories or scenarios who could use the same information to push their goals.

If your character ends up CK'ing in a faction and you still want to be part of the same faction, you must start your new character as a **RESIDENT and/or MEMBER** and work your way back up to Leader. This creates more roleplay, character development, and storylines within faction RP. It also creates more backdooring opportunities for people who want to obtain a leadership role in the faction.

Failure to do so will result in punishment, which could include a faction strike or a ban.

Additionally, when creating a new character, it **CANNOT** be related to your previous character.
